Refers to the decision issued by an arbitrator who mediates to resolve the conflict between the parties involved in an arbitration. These parties have previously signed an agreement in which they commit to accepting said decision. An action for annulment can be exercised through a verbal trial, but once firm, the award has the force of a final judgment and is enforceable in civil jurisdiction.
